A note on measurements
The 20 ft x 30 ft size is nominal. Knitted shade fabric is flexible, so the measured panel may come out slightly under or over the stated size, and it will measure differently relaxed versus under tension. Plan your span with some tolerance and do not size your anchor points to the exact figure.

Harsh midday sun on the patio
A knitted mesh panel at roughly a 50–55% shade rate cuts down harsh direct sunlight overhead so the space stays usable in the middle of the day, without making it dark.
Trapped, stuffy heat under solid covers
Because the fabric is an open weave rather than a sealed sheet, air keeps moving through it instead of sitting still underneath.
Water pooling and sagging
Rain passes through the mesh rather than collecting on top. This is a shade fabric, not a waterproof cover — it will not keep the area underneath dry.

Secure Corners
Run rope or your own hardware through the corner grommets. Mounting hardware is not included.
Tension Evenly
Work around the perimeter grommets and tension evenly so load is shared rather than pulling on one corner.
Take it down in severe weather
Remove the panel before high winds, storms, heavy rain, snow or ice. Shade fabric left installed in severe weather can tear, pull out of its fixings, or damage the structure it is tied to. Do not install it over people, vehicles or animals as a load-bearing or protective cover, and re-check tension and fixings periodically. Installation and anchoring are the owner's responsibility.
